The purpose of the George F. Walker Scholarship Fund is to provide scholarships to full time students who are in a program of study in a land surveying or mapping field.

The George F. Walker Memorial Scholarship Fund Committee is made up of representatives from three organizations, and one representative from academia. The National Society of Professional Surveyors (NSPS), the American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ASPRS) and the Land Surveyors’ Association of Washington (LSAW) each provide representatives. The academic community provides an additional committee member who does not vote on scholarship award issues.

The George F. Walker Memorial Scholarship Fund Committee would like to extend our most heartfelt thanks to everyone who has donated to the scholarship fund over the years. Without you, we wouldn’t be providing meaningful help to worthy students. Please continue to give generously to help sustain a continuous crop of well educated and trained surveyors and mappers.
